JOHN TROSCHUK
The family of John are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on April 22, 2026.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Violet; his daughters, Debra and Brenda (Rick); his four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Violet’s daughter Debby (Juergen), and her three grandchildren.
Per his wishes, a private Celebration of Life has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the MS Society or CancerCare Manitoba.

John enjoyed having drinks and telling stories when company was over. He will be missed by many. May he be dancing in the stars with Vivian. I met John when I started working with the City of Winnipeg in 1985, and he’s someone I never forgot. He was easygoing, always willing to help, and always up for a good joke. John went out of his way for people, and I was grateful for the advice and wisdom he shared with me early in my career. His memory will stay with me. I have many happy memories of John, from when we both worked for The City of Winnipeg. I remember John as a nice man and as a hard working and dedicated employee.
